Applications are open for 2027 at Margolis. Take it monthly for a season, or once every season across the year — either way a fixed night in a fixed window, on the same terms any public event gets, plus one term that only residents have.
A residency is a night that gets to learn.
A one‑off is a good night. A residency is a night that comes back. The crowd finds it, you read the room and adjust, and by the third edition the party has a personality that no single date could have built. We hold dates for that on purpose: a room that only ever sells one‑offs never grows anything.

Pick a window, not a set of hours.
Every residency lands in one of these, which is what lets us build the rest of the calendar around it. You choose the night first; the form then shows you that night’s windows.

Custom hours are possible by exception. The application has a place to ask, and we read every one — but the windows above are prioritised, and a night that fits one of them is simply faster to say yes to.

Same room, same night, same terms. The only difference is how far apart the dates sit — and it is the first question the application asks.

Which one to ask for. Seasonal builds a habit fastest — the crowd learns the date and the room grows edition to edition — but you are filling it every month, and month four is where most residencies die. Quarterly gives you months to promote each date and makes every edition an occasion, at the cost of starting a little colder each time. A quarterly application asks for at least two seasons; one date on its own is a single booking, which is a perfectly good thing to want.

Apply for one season or for all four. Applying for several tells us you want to keep going; we still confirm them one at a time.

A season ending is not a verdict on the party. Sometimes the calendar simply moves, and plenty of nights here have come back a season later.
We keep the right to pull a date.
It is the only term a residency has that a single booking does not, so we would rather you read it here than find it in the fine print.
The building takes full‑venue bookings, and an event at Fabrika large enough to want every room is very nearly the only reason a residency date ever gets reclaimed. When it happens, notice comes in writing, and the windows below are counted from the day that notice goes out to the date itself.
The afterparty comes first
Before anything else, we offer you that event’s afterparty — the same night, in front of a crowd that is usually bigger than your own date would have drawn. Take it and no fee is owed on either side, because the night moved rather than disappeared. The fee applies when there is no afterparty to offer you, or when you turn it down.
Otherwise, you are paid

Paid the same way your door money is paid, within 14 days of the date we reclaimed. If you need to drop one of your own dates, there is no fee — just tell us as early as you can.
One figure per window.
Every residency night carries a bar minimum, and you cover the shortfall if sales land under it. Which one you get depends on two things: whether it’s a weekend, and whether it runs past 9 PM. The kitchen adds $500 on any night you want it open.

There is no separate residency rate — these are the minimums for every Margolis event. The application asks whether you want the kitchen open and quotes you the figure including it. On a 9 PM–2 AM night the kitchen serves until last orders at 11 PM.

A residency doesn’t invent its own payout. It runs on the terms the room already publishes.

Almost anyone can fill a room once. The application asks about the rest of it.

Questions
What’s the difference between a seasonal and a quarterly residency?
How often the night lands, and nothing else. Seasonal is one night a month for a whole season — three dates, close together, which is how a night builds a habit fastest. Quarterly is one night per season — up to four dates across the year, about three months apart, which suits a night that wants to be an occasion and needs runway to promote each one. Same windows, same minimums, same payout, same kill fee. The application asks which you want first, then adapts.
Can I apply for a quarterly residency in just one season?
That’s a single date, so book it as one: host a public event. A quarterly application asks for at least two seasons, because a residency is a night that comes back — that is the whole point of it.
Does applying hold a date?
No. Nothing is held until you have the season, the dates, and the terms from us in writing. We read every application and we answer all of them, including the ones we can’t take.
Can I apply for a night that already runs somewhere else?
Yes, and it helps. A night with a run behind it — even at another venue, even in another city — is the strongest kind of application, because the hardest question about a residency is whether the crowd comes back.
What happens at the end of a season?
We review it together and, if it’s working, offer you the next one. Acceptance covers the season it names and nothing past it, so nobody is quietly holding a date twelve months out that neither of us still wants.
Can I move to a different night mid‑season?
Ask. A residency works because it lands in the same place every time, so we’d rather find the right night before Winter than fix it in March — but if the night is clearly wrong, moving it beats losing it.
Can I have a residency on The Patio or at Fabrika?
Not yet. 2027 residencies are open at Margolis first; the other two rooms will follow. Apply anyway and say so at the end — we’ll come back to you when they open.
Do I have to take the afterparty if you pull my date?
No. Turn it down and the kill fee applies on the schedule above. The offer exists because it is usually the better night, not because it is a way out of paying you.
Is a residency 21+?
Public events at Margolis are strictly 21+, including the afternoon and happy‑hour windows.
